Delirium Poem by nimal dunuhinga

Delirium

Rating: 5.0

His eternal dream is a windfall?
and not a wink,
dawn came with the mighty sun.
Sun knows about witchcraft
that's why the moon cannot reach him.
While he was doing window-shopping
he found a handbag on the street.
Only a halfpenny, handkerchief and a hairpin
which belongs to moon
and there was a photograph too,
Sun's boisterous youth.

A strange poem in which reality and mysticism are at odds with each other. Which one will win? Perhaps only the dawn has the answer to this riddle..Fine work.Nimal. Sandra
