Dementia's Hell Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Dementia's Hell

Sorrow and loneliness for the life I used to have,
missing the serenity and peace that I once knew.

Now living in another's hell of dementia, his sense
of logic and reasoning no longer being qualities
that he has.

Screaming, yelling, cursing, moods of anger and dire
frustration, now being the norm daily.
