Desire For Wealth Strays From Love Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

Desire For Wealth Strays From Love

I won't demand any material things
As Nature has adorned you with beauty,
the matchless dowry, down the heaven flings.
To appraise and enjoy it, ismy duty.

Untainted love on you, I will shower,
with eyes bereft of sleep, guard you with care.
To cut your thread of life, if fate doth hover,
I will defy it and to divert I'll dare.

I won't leave you to suffer in this birth
or the diseases to take away your life.
Life is to live to attain supreme mirth
crossing over the barriers to face the strife.

Hell or the heaven, I shall be with you ever
and when you're in peril, I will go off never.
