Desired Distance Poem by Pranab K Chakraborty

Desired Distance

Rating: 5.0

Fathom of lights
Bring me back
To the primitive cave
As if my ownness
Diluted with
Warm of human flesh
As if no destiny
I posses
Only the loneliness
Alone I bear
With magnificent
Touch of cool

Fathom of lights
Brings me back
Beyond the city tales
Told are complete
Untold now spreading
Their healthy limbs
It's time
Not to be passionate
But time to press
One force
To dictate the monarchy

All the heavenly discharge
From the soul of Satan
Playing tough to fight
The roundheaded statesmen
Occupied eclipse of moon
By treachery and tricks

Fathom of lights
Above the city
Just escalates the escape
From ownness to oneness
From Oneness to universalself
No identity descends or ascend
To attain the otherside of falsehood

Fathom of lights
As if the flight to eternity
Brings me back
To the primitive cave
Fire and human flesh
Await with invitation
To receive me as a digit
No other identity has lost
Its accountability

And all of these happens
Due to fathom of lights
Awaits over cityhead
To haunt a poet for ever
For ever
Forever!
