Destined By Fate Poem by Linda I. Weischedel

Destined By Fate

As I looked across the room,
thinking to myself do I even stand a chance,
you turned and looked my way transmitting such
a warm feeling with only a mere glance.

There was something about your looks,
the radiance in your tender smile,
the sheer confidence in that Gentlemen-type style.

I continued to watch you from afar,
so very curious to know who you were,
as in who you are.

What would happen if I fell in love with you,
speaking for myself,
you'd have an honest love that was and true,
a highly spirited woman who is very unique,
fun loving and new,
since all of this has already come about,
we now fancy one another
the ball is in your park,
it's now up to your mind, body, and soul
to make a plan
as to just what you wanna do.
