Destiny - Poem by Gulam Abbas Hashmi

I read that face of yours my love
While leaving you that night
Those eyes were praying luck for me
And heart was throbbing sigh

I know this well, when I were gone
You sobbed yourself in tears
Don’t let the circumstances win
My love will live through years

This distance does not work on us
Neither the time which pass
Our longing for each other shall
Will keep shining like stars

It was not just for both of us
And not we bear this lone
But destiny plays lot more games
With lovers, she is prone
