You were so close to me
and I could kiss you
but the disguise of indifference
stood before me
and you…
you walked away from me,
I didn't want youto do so,
and I…
! I thought that you...
that you liked me!

I wanted to have you
close to me,
and I turned myself,
into distances,
that only in my mind
I brought you closer to me;
and if you were close,
I kept you away from me,
I didn't look at you,
being my thoughts
all about you.

Disillusionment that rides in prairies
that became mountains
taking you away from me:
the anxiety of finding you
became perfect,
and you dissipated it with your departure:
without glances,
without smiles,
! and so close you were to me!

You...
you walked away from me
and I,
! I thought that you liked me!

Estabas tan cerca
y te pude besar
pero el disfraz de la indiferencia
se interpuso ante mí
y tú…
tú te alejaste de mí,
sin quererlo yo así,
y yo…
yo que pensé
que tú gustabas de mí!

Quise tenerte cerca
y me volqué en distancias
que sólo mi mente
te acercaba a mí;
y si estabas cerca,
yo te alejaba,
no te miraba,
siendo mis pensamientos
todos de ti.

Desilusión que cabalgas en praderas
que se hicieron montañas
alejándote de mí:
la ansiedad de encontrarte
se hizo perfecta,
y la disipaste con tu partir:
sin miradas,
ni sonrisas,
y tan cerca que tú,
estabas de mí!

Tú…
tú te alejaste de mí,
y yo,
