Devious Minds
Devious minds are
skilled in shifting focus
Away from problems
Often caused by their own behavior.
Wise caution us not to let
Our emotions overpower us
When listening to their evil sermons
They thrive on our divides and weakness.
Search for truth and solution requires
Calm and collective heads.
The leaders who exploit our emotions
Are dangerous as wolf in sheep's skin.
I think the poem is a nice commentary on the politicians and the political atmosphere built up by vested interests in the country. Thanks, Savita ji.
Thanks for your comment. It is true so often political atmosphere gets very troublesome. We just have to vent our sentiments out!
