Devour Me, My Love Poem by Thea Pound

Devour Me, My Love

Rating: 4.8

Devour me, my love;
I desire to never part from you,
I desire to be a part of you,
And only you. Always.
I offer my flesh to you,
As I have offered my body,
Take it, as you have taken me.
Taste me, as I have tasted you.
Desire me, as I desire you.
Consume me, as your love has,
Or else be consumed by me;
You have become my addiction,
And I hunger for you,
I am a beast for you;
Hunting. Ravening.
Yet I am also your prey;
I run from you. I run to you.
Let our love become a feast,
So we may become one,
In body, in soul;
Let us devour one another,
And emerge whole.
