Disappearing Fences Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Disappearing Fences

Shepards from the cosmic come.
Prepared to invade this dimension fading.
Obvious is the mental lift they gift.
Dissolving quick are traditions drifting.
Are we not in this universe?
Arriving to leave a planet we call Earth.
Some have decided to conquer and divide.
To rule with delusions of who dies,
And who shall reside.
But this barbaricness soon comes to an end!
Nothing keeps an awakening that reaps...
Nor is there a defense,
To protect those behind disappearing fences.
Blending without blood shed to bleed.
