Discard Useless Things Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Discard Useless Things

Rating: 5.0

“Discard un useful thoughts” legend says
“Encourage and accept what is right”
Some of the materialistic things are of temporary nature
They will never stay for long and assure

Wealth is gained by hard work and fortune
It may come and disappear any time in future
You may want to be wealthiest man of the world
But put that idea in store or cold

The youth too may be like flower
It may be like rainy shower
It may have fragrance for few hours
Rest of the time it may remind of no favor

Go or seek the things of permanent nature
That has been assured you by the creator
“The mortals shall only remain behind”
The good name will be remembered even by blind

So go for the welfare of poor and needy
If you are blessed with enough by almighty
That shall guarantee you peace and prosperity
It may double in no time without seeking plenty
