Discount Poem by Sandra Feldman

Discount

Rating: 2.8

Now,
Everything's supposed to be
"Discount"
Even your soul,
You're not supposed to have one,
No, not at all,
Good feelings, taboo,
Insults for all...
As the song says,
It's a "Material World",
What great progress!
Just let the dice roll,
Instead of a heart,
Now we've got,
A piece of black coal.

Unfortunately Sandra i believe you're correct. This world is fastly becoming heartless, soul - less a place devoid of love, compassion, and caring. Great write!

Life in material world is motivated by illusion. But spiritual life is great to lead life in truth. Amazing! 10

I hope most of us still have our hearts.
