Dismissed To Miss Information Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Dismissed To Miss Information

Intelligence to have with proof of truth.
And a kept honesty deceivers hate.
Does not return given salutes.
Confetti parades.
Or praise for having such great attributes.
When ideals of a society are controlled,
By paid politicians.
Carrying backpacks loaded with cash.
Hoodwinking thinkers.
Jotting down new dupes to dope dosers.
Religious pretenders.
And thieves overdosed.
From compromised visions,
Living high in condos.
Preying,
On naysayers dieting on denial.
As their brains fade away.
Leaving any thoughts useless.
And their minds under hypnosis.
Controlled without them to know.

Feeding on misinformation to believe.
Disregarding the intent of it.
And dismissed is this as well.
As if stripped to skinny dip,
In a pool of B.S. to love.

Having intelligence, truth and common sense,
Has become a loss of effort to endeavor.
Too expensive is the cost to pay.
Even when the facts are sacrificed to reveal,
To those on wounded knees.
Suffering from an epidemic of sleaze.
Yet,
Laying on their backs to ask...
Why and what on Earth is going on.
To then refuse to hear and see,
Reality revealed with it delusion free.
Although,
Kept close is the pain and suffering preferred.
As evidence that reflects,
The best of life God wishes for them to live.
