Disturbed We Are Not Called By Appropriate Names Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Disturbed We Are Not Called By Appropriate Names

If we do eventually call one another comrades...
Would we then become communistic socialists?
Or would we remain the social fools,
We prefer.
And disturbed we are not called by appropriate names.
With a more political correctness accepted.
Even though the environment has long been changed.
And the name calling we choose to keep the same,
To defame in disgust.
In a more truer definition of us.
