When words came
they slithered down the lane
arrived silent
in the night
but kicked down the door
at 3a.m. to announce themselves
Should they pause to
ring the doorbell
they don't just stop at one
ding
but make sure
to play a melody
downstairs to confront
the intruders I found
myself welcomed
in my own home
that became
some brave new world
When they visit
should they visit
expect they might
wish to bolt
keep them engaged, give them voice
these guest who must never leave
When they visit should they visit expect they might wish to bolt keep them engaged, give them voice these guest who must never leave..... impressive concluding. Visited time and again.

All of our poetry, music, songs and all forms of art are already out there in the universe. Our job is to welcome these " divinities" and to spread their message to the world. Another divine poem, M.J.!
Wow! Thank you, Richard. You remind me of 'spreading the net.' Is the writer the fisher of art? Thank you again.
