Diwali 2015 Hai Aayi (Abridged) - Poem by Seema Jayaraman

Dekho Bhaiya, Diwali hai aayi
Jholi bhar kushiyaan hai laayi
Poore bhis din chutti mere bhai
Ghere andhere me roshni hai chai

Papa ladenge khillone kayi
Sandook bhar paatake aur mithai
Nakli chotis se bandhook ki nali
Dhoom dhadaka, rocket ki chillai

Mummy ghar aangan sajayegi
school baste ko chipayegi
Kapade aur poshak nayi
Muh bhar sevak burfi kai

Thank you for stopping by, I wiil translate this in english for you.. Though am not sure we have the right words in english to pick up the range of feelings so deeply expressable with few words and sounds typical of asian languages.. In this case Hindi.. But will post soon. Thanks.
