Do It And Be Set Free - Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Don't be the one,
Delayed to be forgiving.
Open up your heart,
And...
Blessings come,
You will know.

Don't be the one,
Delayed to be forgiving.
Open your eyes wide,
To realize...
Your gift IS life.

Don't be the one,
Delayed to be forgiving.
Do it and be set free.
Do it and you will see,
What God can do.

Don't be the one,
Delayed to be forgiving.
Do it and be set free.
Do it and you will see,
What God can do.
For you.
Do it and you will see,
What God can do.

Do it and you will see,
What God will undo for you.
Do it and you will see,
What God can do.

Don't be the one,
Delayed to be forgiving.
Do it and be set free.
Do it and you will see,
What God can do.
For you.
Do it and you will see,
What God can do.

I'm do believe that life is precious and grudges are harmful.
But I'm also a firm believer in not allowing yourself to be taken advantage of.
Speak with the heart through the mind.
With middle ground, it is sometimes hard to get a solid footing.
As on ice you will slide.
No matter how hard you try.
Don't let failures, diminish your high hopes.
Don't let your high hopes, diminish to be accomplishments.
Sometimes we are to accepting, other we are not.
To forgive takes even more courage, and doesn't always have the effect you think it will.
Some wounds no matter the bandage or stitches won't completely heal.
It is not it is half empty or full but whether it is real.
