Do not leave me even for a single day, because
I do not know how to tell it, the day is long
And I will be waiting for you at the stations
Where the trains are asleep, parked elewhere.

Do not leave me even for an hour, because
In that hour I will be restless, and perhaps
The smoke that's looking for a home will
Come into me to kill my lost heart.

Oh, your silhouette may never disapper
on the beach, may you look not for someone
else, do not go away for a minute, my beloved.

Beacuse in that minute you'll have gone so far
I will be crossing the whole earth, asking:
If you would return to me or leave me here, dying.
