Do You Really Know Your Friend? - Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion
True friendship
Is truly a good thing;
If one falls down,
Rescue the other does bring.
Two individuals
Are better than one;
For they have a good return
For their work well done.
Though sole person
May be overpowered;
Duo can defend themselves,
As they shall not be bothered.
Beware of false friends,
For they can fool some people;
Good character could be corrupted,
If we would not be careful.
It is normal for the young
To have a desire to fit in;
Accepted by his peer group,
Spending time with his best friend.
Do you really know your friend?
He must be who wants salvation;
He who wants to obey God's commands
Must be your chosen companion.

Sound advice! Friends exert a lot of influence on one's life either for good or for bad. So we have to be very careful in choosing our friends! There is a saying; 'Show me your friends, then I can tell you who you are' (Report) Reply
