Two days after we parted,
One fine morning you asked,
a question that touched my heart-
"Do you remember me"?

I remember a face
That rested on my chest
And you answered
"Yes to hear your heartbeat"

I remember a face
That kissed me a million times
And you replied
"Yes kissed my sweet Lily of the valley"

I remember a face
That smiled with great joy
And you responded
'cause I saw the most beautiful person"

I remember a face
That made my heart rejoice
And you asserted
"You poured out all your love on me"

I remember a face
That moaned with great pleasure
And you acknowledged
"Yes never experienced it before"

I remember my soul carving a face
On the tablet of my heart
And you stated
"My finger wrote 'I love you'on it"

I asked my soul Who's that?
He's my mate, my lover it whispered
And you reassured
"Yes for me too"
