Does Love Cost A Dime? Poem by Emmanuel Joseph Olumakiss

Does Love Cost A Dime?

To love and be loved
Isn't what we all crave for?
When two heads lock its horn
It seems loving never stop
Indeed happy is the home love head its thrown
Exuberance abound and joy overflow
Isn't this part of our daily dream?
To encounter a heart that's open to all
How do you compare the power of love?
As little it might be the thing that drive us nuts
When emotion upset
One can be governed by a heart half his age
Does love cost a dime?
Being under control for the sake of another
Ready to take a bullet because of a lover
Isn't this something we both can try?
Sticking to our word without a change of mind
Is it just a waste of time?
Struggling to fetch another a smile
When am not fully satisfied
Isn't what we all crave for?
To love and be loved
When two heads lock its horn
It seems loving never stop
Does love cost a dime?
How about the effort we push trying to gain a heart
What of the resources we invest couple of times?
How often does this truly last?
Living with a spouse one dislike
And Period emotions are lagging behind.
