Done In Blood Poem by K J

Done In Blood

Rating: 5.0

The urge so strong
The smell so sweet
Following
Has never been so fun
The joy of the kill
The scream that never ends
The laughter that escapes
Each and every time
The strength that fulfils me
The ecstasy that consumes me
The want of more
Joy of seeing the moon each night
Thoughts of previous lovers
Of the centuries or decades ago
The ones from different states
Or the ones from different continents
Missing my maker
Yet
Cursing him as well
Each time I tell him to
Go to hell
He laughs and promises
To meet me there
Yet I loathe what I’ve become
I cry
For now I am a child of darkness
I have done what the
Prophecy foresaw
My new name
For all its worth
Is Vampyr
And
It was done in
BLOOD
