Done To Cover Up Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Done To Cover Up

An idiot admitting it.
May not be the idiot.
Few incompetent get to sit in positions.
To be perceived as a fool.
Without convincing others to support,
Everything one like this does to do.
As if hypnotized or addicted,
To either greed or money.
And leaving that behind,
Would make them appear stupid.
And stupidity to know it,
With this done to cover up.
Is worth it to many,
To tolerate an idiot.
Who knows what it takes to make fools.
