Don't Be Afraid. Poem by Nabakishore Dash

Don't Be Afraid.

To not be afraid of
cyclone should be
ordinary mind-set
of every man.
More severe agonies,
in social intercourse,
are being effaced daily
in one's life-span.

Hurried and worried buying
of commodities leads
to sharp inflation.
Chances are rare to see
a proportionate market
price deflation.

Can we not manage
lives economically
for a fleeting phenomenon?
Let us gain strength
by observing animals
other than humans.

Languishing are many,
in parts of this world,
for want of a square meal.
Seriously viewing them
would definitely make us
easy to feel.
