Love -Bomb Poem by Nabakishore Dash

Man has divided mankind
on caste, colour, region and religion.
Excoriation does not reveal
any distinction,
physicality is only one,
one heavenly source
provides us inspiration.

One life manifests in all,
all creatures on the earth
are linked together by way of
food -web, food chain, respiration.
Hurting, maltreating and ill using
one would affect the whole domain,
sure to endanger our sustain.

We have witnessed the disasters
of the first and second
World wars.
If we don't realize and learn
from the scars of our past mistakes,
we can never change
our present and future.

Now all nations are spending
millions of dollars and using
their intellectual acumen
to accumulate weapons and
bombs of mass destruction.
The third world war is hovering
over our heads that may destroy
the entire human civilisation.

Man must use his physicality,
emotionality, intellect and
spirituality to design a very
new and novel bomb,
the love bomb, which when
exploded would melt hatred
greed and selfishness.
Our transient lives should not
be rioted-away in nurturing
ill-will towards fellow humans,
all other creatures to
make our lives hellish.

from personal to global, is the
absence of love in the hearts
of people,
a binding and unifying factor.'
Einstein rightly said
'If we want our species to survive,
if we are to find meaning in life,
if we want to save the world and
every sentient being that
inhabits it,
love is the one and only answer.'
