Dramatist-Actor-Songwriter Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Dramatist-Actor-Songwriter

Sir Noel Coward, a British wonder
of the twentieth century 1899-1973.
We all remember 'Mad Dogs of
Englishmen go out in the Midday Sun'.
This song was certainly a famous one.
Sir Noel gave us Bitter Sweet and
Private Lives... Gertrude Lawrence
wise and pretty, took the stage in
New York City. Then came the films
In Which We Serve, Blithe Spirit and
Brief Encounter, and many more;
all bringing so much pleasure.
Noel Coward's drama and song will
surely live on forever and ever.
