Dramatization Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Dramatization

The beginning
The beginning was groundbreaking
The weight of her stare
The lightheartedness of her smile
Love was felt
This sensation struck as lightning to branches
Simply overwhelming as it began to take over
Conquering everything it struck
The essence of her took my mind twelve miles south
Then darted east
I felt as if I was drowning in her stare
A dry type of drown
Just as fish out of water
I saw her and immediately twelve buildings
Maybe more, exploded inside my head
Kind of chaotic
but calming at the same time
The way she closed her eyes
then opened them again
Seemed like a new day each time
with each look she'd give I saw an horizon
Nothing more
Had I somehow died and been born again,
Not a sound could be heard as I traveled the miles in her eyes
With each breath she'd give, it embodied paradox
Humble were the words that slipped through her lips
An addition to the light that could brighten any day
My imagination couldn't have done justice
Couldn't begin to have dreamt of something so perfect
I felt at peace
Found
A dramatization like the commercials seen on medicine ad's with everyone smiling just before they briefly say the side effects so you can't hear them over the laughter and enjoyment of the actors paid
To rehearse something
so real
