Dream - Poem by Jessica Nychkalo
My life and yours have intertwined
Over time we have become one person
Different minds yet a single soul
We are two fragile hearts
Strengthened by the love of eachother
When you close your eyes
And dream of love and life
And the way things should be
Do you dream of us?
Do you dream of me?
Do you dream of love that's meant to be?
They say absence makes the heart grow fonder
But why would I want to go
Even a single moment
Without you by my side
Even a single second
Without your loving smile
Everything I do I do for you
I do it all knowing
That our love is true
