Dream In Love - Poem by Bill Darrah

She gave me part of my dream.
I gave her freedom for her
Emotional state of mind.
She never experienced it before,
And I never had the guts to explore
So freely, casually, and openly
The expression of feeling and emotion
She so graciously accepted with
Just a hint of anxiety and hesitance,
Making her smiling face beam
As she exchanged the expression of my dream
For the expression of eternal and internal embrace
Of love and warmth with her beauty and grace
Given and shown through her eyes and smiling face
Interlocked with mine in a frozen glance,
Hypnotized by our curiosity and deep desire
To find love we longed
To start an emotional fire
Burning in our hearts-long and strong
Until we finished writing our love song.
