Dreamland Poem by H E Alexander

Dreamland

Rating: 5.0

"Come with me, " he said to her,
to a place where both can be
the people who we wish we were;
in like, in love, hate free.

"There's no such place, " to him she said,
"but in your dreamer's mind."
"O, my love, look inward" he pled,
"and your soul will fancy find."

So off they went, hand in hand,
each longing to never part,
to their own nonpareil dreamland
deep within each other's heart.
