Dreams often premonition of some memorable event-
One relating to good tidings forgotten easily,
While the ones just before something foul happens
Stay hung in memory like dead Albatross*
Around cursed sailor's neck.
We try to shake them off branding coincidence,
Yet coincidence stands on its own ground
Without interference from mighty intellect,
Mysteriously lighting up and connecting
The distant corners of past, present and future
Containing the blue prints for time
As a whole and single entity.
Note: * The image of dead Albatross around cursed sailor's neck is taken from the Coleridge's poem The Ancient Mariner.
dead Albatross! i could only stand it around my neck for two weeks! i finally got rid of it. hee-hee. and it WAS yummy! ! am i being silly? bri :)
Being silly is just a notch up from being funny. You can be a better judge for what you had in mind. Only thing I can say is that the poem is not about birds - dead or alive. But thanks for reading and commenting.

Then it keeps haunting us! But then the irrational fears take precedence over the rational mind! ! Great write!

Dreams are very mysterious. Sometimes we feel these and sometimes we get confusion. Mysterious lighting up connects intellect. A single entity motivates mind. A beautiful poem is definitely and interestingly penned. This is an excellent sharing...10
