Dreams Of Night Poem by Evelyn Judy Buehler

Dreams Of Night

Rating: 5.0

I sit on my porch, lost in pleasant dreams,
On a warm summer night, of twinkling stars,
Moonlight falling in its gentle pale streams;
And breezes bring fragrance from meadows far!

Sounds of hooting owls in the woods are heard,
With romantic tweets of others on wings.
Night's so pleasant with all sunbeams scattered.
Breezes toss the garden blooms and wild things!

My heart is full of the tunes of the night,
As I swing and sway to its gentle beat.
Although tomorrow brings certain delight,
Just now I'm thrilled the sun set in defeat.

In the presence of moon and stars and sea,
Just here is where I've been longing to be!

Although your every words hold essence in your poem these words realy had magical tune. I liked them My heart is full of the tunes of the night, As I swing and sway to its gentle beat. Although tomorrow brings certain delight, Just now I'm thrilled the sun set in defeat. In the presence of moon and stars and sea, Just here is where I've been longing to be! .... sometimes we do desire like this and it's good too.
