Duly Ratified Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Duly Ratified

The first fruits in Achaia,
Love is the key to live;
The second fruits in Accra,
To my sweet lover in the bush!
But great in pleasure is the muse of your love.

I am filled with the comfort of your love,
But eternal are things unseen!
For the temporary things seen around are like,
The blessing of giving! !
So come out from among them and be separated.

The blessing of sharing and the blessing of peace,
Do not touch the unclean things and live!
For i am like the light shining out of your darkness,
But this poem is with joy to you all.

Many years after your love,
It had been duly ratified to satisfy your muse;
And like an infant in the land of your sweet home.
