Dusk, Poem On Nature

Our fatigue subtly sets in,
Rest and all her charms beckon,
Darkness is destined to ascend,
The light bringer will be born again,
Day almost played out to her end,
Beaten down by the hour hand,
Beauty's shadowed with all darkened,
The curtain's called across the land,
An encore is not to be played,
Left with the darkness we've to brave,
