Duty Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Duty

Getting up from the bed
I look at the rising sun
Through a crack in the window
I watch as a new day is going to born

I see a new body in me
A new soul washed pure
Whatever lies ahead for me to do
With my heart I will finish it for sure

I won't be back to bed now
The sun has gone up the hill
I must get ready to take up my job
And to set rolling my fortune's wheel

Sometimes it is a strugle to get up for work in the early mornings, but somehow if the sun is shining it seems to make it a bit easier, to get our wheels of fortune rolling. Really enjoyed this one. Annette

every day we sit on the fortune wheel to try our luck, with fresh mind and thoughts, magical words, thanks for the good share
