Eagle's Eye Poem by Manonton Dalan

Eagle's Eye

see thick intruder grass
curling over fine green
stalks protruding, wiry
would be blessing roll
without waving; i see
close as i could be

perfection key to win
i took a deep breathe
push it towards cup
let out an easing sigh
wounded bird fading cry
bit my lips another time
