Early Works - A Twilight Of Sunset Poem by David Harris

Early Works - A Twilight Of Sunset

Rating: 5.0

A scarlet harvest sky
a lingering kiss of the suns goodbye
a twilight at the end of day
burning horizon, beauty display.
A balloon about to burst
a child near dreamlands sleep
visions of a happy day
crowd some small memory.
A parents goodnight kiss,
a prayer before the sandman calls
sleepy eyelids flutter
before night engulfs them all

Serenity & smooth verse incarnate, David....WoW...Thirty-years ago...bet it seems like yesterday....I know it does to me when i muse on back to the late 70's, early 80's.Only difference for me is, unlike you, i didn't have the smarts to buy into creative writing until '95....wish i had...Solid Write!
