Early Works - Indecision Poem by David Harris

Early Works - Indecision

We are all searchers
some try to capture a childhood
we never had the way we wanted.

I am like Macbeth
a man who could never make up his mind
until it is or was too late
the consequence is the good things,
the important things pass us by
without our even realizing.

We are all full of indecision
a human frailty that has been
inbred within us for years
being so we are fallible
when we make mistakes
only with some
life is one big mistake.

We try to prove our worthiness,
but worthy of anything is any man?
The question hangs over us
like the sword of Damocles.
