Earth Worms Poem by Lauren Coles

Earth Worms

Earth worms don't show their faces in the winter,
Earth worms are little to nothing to where they can squeeze into tiny spaces,
They like the dirt after a strong rain storm,
During the winter earth worms cannot survive due to the freezing temperatures,
The moisture breaks them out of their slumber,
Kids are freaked out by dirt between their fingers,
Spring brings back the memories that we have to wait for all winter to see.
