Edouard Manet (1)

I was watching famous people have their lunch,
in French, they call it Le Déjeuner sur l'Herbe

in fact, I was watching Manet's painting in Musée d'Orsay,
the colours are cool, the museum was cool too,
not yet chilly,

the museum director did think about the canvas and oil paint,
there sat the brother and their cousin of the painter
having lunch with two more naked ladies,
yes, naked,

Manet dared to paint these: naked ladies
one half naked at the background
and one naked lady at the foreground,
the future wife of Emile Zola
Olala, olala

Poetess' Note:
Of course there will come Edouard Manet (2)
Entirely different than Geoffrey Chaucer, but both did in Art
