Hidden in the clue, came along with return mail
So fearful and loathsome, in ghostly shadow
Now, how can I make my mind to write an elegy
Very next moment I sent you birthday greetings?
It is imperative to accept what is written in the faith
and face as things, what ever they are, come our way
Let me share Anne with you, our condolences
at this, grieving moment, with hopes and preys
Mighty God will take care of you all and his soul
to the same degree as you have your faith on him.
I do no intend scratching the paining heart, but
Just remember Anne, we here too are with you
at this hour of sorrow too, same way as we used to
in good old days, as friends indeed.
Separation and sorrow come into our life unexpected and uninvited.....! But we have to bear them with fortitude! A poignant write!
Thank you Valsa, one of my most valued critiques, for your views.
Wonderful and poignant poem, a loss of a good friend can leave us heartbroken for a long-time.
Heartfelt, Life and death is beyond our control, we are puppets controlled by our fate, your friend is lucky to have you by his side, May God accept all his good deeds and reward suitably. Nice poem.10++
