Empty Chairs Poem by Adiela Akoo

Empty Chairs

Rating: 5.0

I'm sitting at the table
across empty chairs
thinking of the ones
who once sat there
laughter echoes through the air
conversations connections
then slowly disappear
and I'm left
sitting at the table
staring at empty chairs
missing the ones
who once sat there

Nice one. Those who have moved us and have moved on, sadly will leave the living feeling empty... but death is only a door to another room... namaste.

I do believe that too, that death is the beginning of a new adventure Namaste
