Endless Rain Poem by Spiritwind Wood

You hide behind loves lies
and broken promises made
as the passion once felt dies
and the roses bleed and fade
from love you couldn't hold

You just watched in vain
of a story never untold
as you feel all the pain
from tears now that fall
in an endless rain

Left with a broken image
that hangs on a wall
you try to turn a page
as you stand here alone
on an empty quiet stage
haunted by a past now gone
