Enjoy festivals

Enjoy holy occasions
They are known festivals
Id-e-Iftehaar is main attraction
Ramadan is over and is going to be celebrated all over nation

After month long fasts observation
It is process of purification
The holy drive to be near an almighty
Sing in his praise observe purity

One may ask self "how much was he pure"
Was it as per the conscience to be sure?
I think answer shall be in negative
As bloodbath in holy months have proved difficult to live

We have taken God's chariot out in city
Since last 300 years this tradition is celebrated in many parts of the country
God comes out of his abode to bless the place
People from all the religions come out, participate and witness

It is belief and strong conviction
That there may be down pour of rain
If not more at least, the chariot shall become wet
People may dance, accompany and fully set

The poor pull the chariot
Muslims distribute the cloths and give gifts
The main feature is gathering of unique feeling
Once in a year, it is falling almost on nearby dates
