Walking up mountains, looking down upon the valley,
bursting with greenery of desert plants.
Watching carefully, paths where wild animals like
to roam.
Following sights of intense beauty as they unfold
right before your eyes.
Reaching towards the heavens, being grounded here
on the side of a mountain.
Enjoying the atmosphere and feelings of freedom and
independence just being alive in Arizona.

I saw Phoenix is your hometown so I wanted to see how you relate to your environment - it's so connected to our poetry writing. I visited Arizona - Tucson and Phoenix - and I could once again see the landscape and feel the dry heat. I really fell in love with that place and your poem made me feel like I was actually walking it again. So in a sense I too fulfilled your title - ENJOYING ARIZONA. My relationship with Minnesota is deep and abiding but it's not as pure - the long winter makes that impossible, but the other seasons are sublime.
