Ephemeral Soul Poem by Uriah Hamilton

Ephemeral Soul

Grey Detroit landscape
Trying to weep;
Every heart is heavy
With withering love.

I've become
A faded newspaper
Blowing down the street
With inconsequential words.

I'm incapable of understanding
The ephemeral soul
Swimming into oblivion

And away from my embraces.
