Very disappointing poem... to find out Bri's not really dead! Ha ha ha ha ha! Just kidding, Bri! Doug, as Bri says, the poem is delightful. Well done.

this is a delightful [and not JUST because it is about ME! ], which was inspired by something i wrote after being inspired by some other poet. the details are 'sketchy'. remember to read the last two lines in one fell swoop***! ====================================== *** at one fell swoop Also found in: Dictionary/thesaurus, Legal, Encyclopedia, Wikipedia. at one fell swoop and in one fell swoop Fig. in a single incident; as a single event. (This phrase preserves the old word fell, meaning terrible or deadly.) The party guests ate up all the snacks at one fell swoop. When the stock market crashed, many large fortunes were wiped out in one fell swoop. See also: at, fell, one, swoop - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - nice rhyming. to MyPoemList. bri :)
