Essence Of Time

What is time, but space and matter:
Space accommodates matter.
And matter occupies space.
Time has boundaries—
A beginning and an end.
It is a limited plane—
Suspended in the unlimited expanse
Of eternity.
Time is the here and now,
But only for a while.
It is more brief than one realizes.
And someday, like all else,
Time shall expire.
