Eternity's Gates Poem by Ronald Chapman

Eternity's Gates

Turning the calendar,
Another June has come,
Missing you Love, standing by my side.

I keep thinking of you,
Every night standing guard at eternity's gates,
Watching the stars.

Wishing for a way to bring you back home to me,
Or travel to our past,
To ask Fate to change our paths.

An impossible distance,
A wall of stars between us,
That only death can cross.

Just thinking of you,
Writing these words to you,
Gives me never-ending pleasures in life,

Until that day,
When I step on to Heaven's Bridge,
Holding a beautiful bouquet of white roses,

I will dream of you,
My only Love,
Until our passionate spirits, touch once again in Heaven.
