Even On Sundays Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Even On Sundays

When people begin using excuses,
To destroy themselves with self abuse...
As a means to show their abilities,
To rely on crutches that allow them...
A continuance to feed on discouragement.
They prove to no one,
They have a faith kept that is maintained.
Even on Sundays their routines are seen,
As being highly hypocritical and sustained.
